We are a family run business, opened in the summer of 2022
The name “Penny Licks” comes from a traditional ice cream treat. The ‘Penny Lick’ was a small glass used for serving ice cream that was sold by street vendors in London throughout the 19th and 20th century. These glass cups of ice cream were sold for a penny and were licked clean and returned to the vendor to be re-used, hence the name ‘Penny Lick’!
Artisan Ice Creams
We pride ourselves on our freshly made ice creams. All of our artisan ice creams are made on site, in what we like to call ‘the factory’! We prioritise the quality of our product and the satisfaction of our customers above all else, with our wide range of ice cream flavours, constantly changing to suit our customers wants and needs!
